about

Feelin' Blah'Zey is a soulful realistic story that is romantic, sassy, rhythmic and engaging song. Writing these lyrics during the lockdown helped manage the stress and lift the spirit. The song talks about relationship changes. It begins with the joyful beach memories that evolve into the mundane. There comes a point when we ask ourselves if we should stay of go. This song is delivering a strong orchestration of strings, horns and guitar licks that compliment the passion and mood of my vocal story.

There comes a time in all our lives when we just stop and ask ourselves this one question, "Should I Stay or Should I Go!”

Next time you're Feelin Blah'Zey, just play my song. Let me do the talking for you. Play it loud, proud and repeatedly! I got you! This song was made just for you! ENJOY!

lyrics

FEELIN' BLAH'ZEY
by Starlene Bey

Woke up this morning feeling a little Blah’Zey
Don’t know what to do, don’t know just what to say
Cause your love is like an ocean, swirling round and round and up and down me
You’re like a wave rising high with the tide but the lows keep getting lower
Remembering the times we had when love was good and nothing bad every happened, but
What should I do, to keep things moving with you

Should I stay should I go, should I try to let you know, how I’m feeling
You take the good with the bad but sometimes you just get mad, and you know it, Oh oh, oh

Woke up Woke up this morning, still Feelin Blah’Zey, there’s no reason for you to stay in If you no longer love me, Well! There’s no way, I can to stay
Cause your love makes me feel, I’m not worthy, Why ya acting cold, shits getting old
What’s wrong with you? Oh oh I don’t know what I should do

Should I stay should I go, should I try to let you know, how I’m feeling
Oh, You take the good with the bad and every time you just get mad, and you know it,
Well, Should I stay should I go, should I try to let you know, how I’m feeling
[Change]
So why do I still Love you, remembering, us holding hands out on the beach and making love
All in the sand, remembering the time that we first met
When love was good, and nothing bad, let’s get that back…. [background & lead]

Should I stay should I go, should I try to let you know, how I’m feeling, Oh Oh
You take the good good with the bad even when he makes you mad,
you know know know it, Oh Oh
Should I stay should I go, Should I stay I just don’t know, while I’m hurting, Oh Oh
Take the bad with the good, even when ya misunderstood you know it, yes you know it

Should I stay should I go should I stay or should I go!
That’s why I’m Feeling Blah’Zey, Oh Oh!
